Early Detection of Strokes
Stroke is a devastating disease that claims more than 500,000 lives in the world every year. If we can identify high risk patients before a stroke happens, we will be able to reduce the number of deaths and save more lives. In this work, our team develops an AI-based stress test to predict potential strokes.
Brain Development in the First Two Decades of Life
The first two decades of life are critical to the human brain development. Our team aims to establish important milestones in different stages of brain development using MR images of children's brains.
Treatment Outcome Predictions
Artificial intelligence can be leveraged to predict treatment outcomes for patients with brain diseases. By combining clinical, genetic, imaging, and behavioral data, our team aims to develop AI algorithms that provide personalized insights for patients.
